School Road, Blaxhall

This is a job we carried out in Blaxhall - it was a refurbishment and extension project.

It is a second home for a hard working couple who loved the property and location but it didn't quite fulfil their needs, so we set about changing that.

This was a little 1980's, extension on the back with an outdated bathroom, the kitchen was also in need of an upgrade and had a quirky internal porch. The plan was to block up the existing door and take out the porch to open up the kitchen.

An additional extension was to be built to house, a utility room and somewhere for the dogs.

The living room was a converted garage and shall we just say it wasn't to everyone's taste, it was cold and badly insulated, so we constructed a new flat ceiling and fitted a wood burning stove.

A few other alterations were made including increasing the height of the ceiling as you went upstairs, some of the windows were replaced and a refresh of the paintwork throughout.

Outside we paved around the new extension with some fancy brick steps too.
